Accessibility Statement.

Last updated: October 30, 2026

GENUINE: The Real People Company wants everyone to be able to use genuinerealpeople.com, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or screen magnification.

The standard we follow

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our standard. These are the internationally recognized guidelines for accessible websites.

Where we are today

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conforms means that some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working on the gaps listed below.

What we have done

  • Every field in our casting, mailing list and contact forms has a visible label.
  • Links and buttons that show only an icon or image, such as our logo, menu buttons and social media icons, have text labels for screen readers.
  • Images, client logos and video thumbnails have text descriptions.
  • A “Skip to content” link appears for keyboard users.
  • The video at the top of our home page has no sound and can be paused with a clearly labeled button. If your device is set to reduce motion, it starts paused.
  • Our Privacy Policy is published as text on our own page, so it works with screen readers and zoom.
  • Pages can be zoomed and resized on phones and computers.

Known limitations

  • Some text in our brand colors (for example white text on our pink, red or teal backgrounds) does not yet meet the WCAG color contrast minimum.
  • Videos hosted on YouTube rely on YouTube’s captions, which may be automatically generated and not always accurate.
  • Some older casting posts may have images without full text descriptions.
